INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup basil leaves
- ΒΌ cup walnuts
- 2 garlic pods
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Lemon juice
- 1tsp rock salt
- 1tsp pepper
METHOD:
- Add walnuts, salt, pepper, garlic cloves and basil leaves into a mixer grinder
- Pulse coarsely by adding olive oil and lemon juice gradually.
- Transfer to a sealed glass jar and keep refrigerated until ready to use.
- Mix with salads as required or use as a sandwich filler.
