INGREDIENTS:
Green or Yellow Moong Dal, soaked for 6 to 7 hours
Onion
Tomato
Cucumber
Capsicum
Green Chillies
Red Chilli Powder
Salt to taste
Oil
Coriander Leaves
Ginger and Garlic
Hing Powder
METHOD:
Grind the dal with green chillies, ginger, garlic, hing, and make a thick paste (not too watery) and keep aside.
Add salt, red chilli powder, and coriander leaves. Mix and keep aside for about 15 minutes.
Heat the toaster and spread some oil and put in the batter and layer it with all the sliced vegetables for the sandwich and add one more layer of the moong dal batter on it (just like how we place the sandwich bread) and let it cook from both the sides until golden brown.
Enjoy hot with green chutney!
